ENVAL’s breakthrough microwave pyrolysis

Enval, a spin off from the University of Cambridge’s Department of Chemical Engineering have just started trials with their high power microwave pyrolysis project to recover aluminium from flexible laminate packaging such as food and drink pouches and tooth paste tubes. The trials are coordinated by DEFRA and the project is supported by a consortium of multinational companies including Coca Cola Enterprises Ltd and Nestle.
