DIELECTRIC HEATING (MICROWAVE AND RADIO FREQUENCY HEATING)

During 2010 three courses were presented.

A course targeting RF theory and practice given during 24-25 May

The generic course (see below for a typical programme) on Microwave and Radio Frequency heating given during 8-9 June

A bespoke course on RF and microwaves given on 17-18 August at a firm’s premises in the USA.

16:00 -  16:50    Theory (cont), Material properties
16:50 – 17:45    Sources and Applicators for Microwave and RF heating
17:45-   18:00    Drinks reception [venue to be announced]

10:00 – 10:45       Industrial Microwave Applications
10:45 - 11.00        Coffee
11:00 – 12:00       Industrial RF Applications
12:00 – 12:45       Open Forum-questions & answers  
13:00 – 14:00       Lunch
14:00 – 14:30       Closing remarks: Summary
14:30                     End of Course

The open forum proved as usual to be very popular and worthwhile to the delegates in that they asked questions relevant to their business without compromising confidentiality.

Course fee for the 2011 course: £860 per delegate. AC Metaxas and Associates is non VAT registered

The course fee includes, luncheon on the second day, interval refreshments and comprehensive course notes. Hotel accommodation, if required, is the responsibility of the delegates.
